This discussion on giardiasis took place during the Water Quality Technology Conference in Denver, Colo., on Dec. 3, 1984. Robert G. McCall, former director of environmental health services, W. Va. State Department of Health, and now a consultant with Kelley, Gidley, Blair and Wolf, Inc., 550 Eagan St., Charleston, W. Va., was moderator of the panel. Other participants were: Joseph A. Cotruvo, director of the Criteria and Standards Division of the Office of Drinking Water, US Environmental Protection Agency, 401 M Street, S. W., Washington, D.C.; David W. Hendricks, professor of civil engineering, Engineering Research Center, Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colo.; Walter Jakubowski, chief of the parasitology and immunology group, USEPA Health Effects Research Laboratory, 26 W.
