Analysis of Distribution Networks by Balancing Equivalent Pipe Lengths
A method is presented here of sizing mains in water distribution networks directly, rather than by trial‐and‐ error selection of pipe sizes that is inherent in conventional methods of analysis. The method was originally suggested by O'Connor in 1944, after publication of his simplified method of analyzing water distribution systems.
