Role of Ground Water Contamination in Water Management
The purpose of this article was to place groundwater contamination and its complement, absence of contamination, in perspective with water development and to demonstrate that it should not be excluded in long‐range integrated community plans. Related to this purpose is the emphasis that might be placed on the urban area and its populated suburbs so that environmental aspects of water supply and waste management are viewed from the perspective of economics and health protection.
