Magnesium Carbonate: A Recycled Coagulant—II
Part I, last month, detailed the use of magnesium carbonate for the coagulation of organic color and turbidity in both natural and synthetic waters and dealt primarily with the laboratory evaluations and the results of these studies. This article discusses the economic evaluation of this new process, some of the theoretical relationships derived, and its application to in‐plant use.
