Have you ever felt a desire to help save your world, but not known how to start? What if I told you that you could be part of a team that would help one community at a time here in the United States? What if there were many teams ‐ more than just yours ‐ working in many locations? If you are just starting out in your career and these teams provided hands‐on career‐building opportunities, would these be useful to you? If you are a seasoned professional looking to give back and to help younger generations grow professionally, would these opportunities be fulfilling for you? If all of this could happen, would you feel like you helped to save your world? These were the questions that led to the creation of the Community Engineering Corps?, a new and powerful alliance among AWWA, Engineers Without Borders‐USA, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
