Application of digital twin simulation preview in water transfer scheduling in the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project
The digital twin simulation preview technology is the basis for realizing the precise dispatching of the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project. Aiming at the scheduling difficulties such as long water transmission lines, many control gates and complex operation conditions, the digital twin simulation and preview technology is applied to the water transmission and scheduling of the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project through modernized information technology. Through the double driving of data model and mechanism model, a simulation and rehearsal platform for water transmission and dispatching of the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project under digital twinning has been developed, and an intelligent cleaning model of water data, a one‐dimensional hydrodynamic fast and accurate simulation model, an autonomous learning training model, and a local three‐dimensional hydrodynamic simulation and simulation model of typical buildings have been constructed, which can realize the precise simulation of the water condition of the whole line under any set boundary and the precise simulation of the effect of the hydrodynamic regulation and control scheme under arbitrary conditions, as well as the formation of an effective scheduling plan. The preview platform for the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project has two main features. First, it has flexibility and versatility, which makes it convenient for users to freely simulate various operating conditions at different spatial and temporal scales and can adapt to changes in boundary conditions such as inflow and outflow. Secondly, it has the ability of independent learning, which can automatically improve the parameters and structure of the calculation model with the richness of monitoring data and improve the calculation accuracy of the model. The water transmission scheduling preview system of the Middle Route of South‐to‐North Water Diversion Project can provide a strong technical guarantee for the high‐quality development of water transmission scheduling.
