The !MPACT Contest: An Opportunity for Architecture Students
The !MPACT student architecture contest is dedicated to promoting low‐impact building materials among students and to help them develop skills and methods for working with these materials. Most architecture schools incorporate lessons on sustainable building and the city. However, during their training courses, students have little opportunity to come across project methodology which integrates all of the environmental, economic and social criteria which are required for a true transition in the construction sector. The !MPACT contest gives them this opportunity. The !MPACT contest is a national student contest open to all students in architecture and other training fields related to building, engineering, design and art, in France and internationally. It is aimed at students of all levels of study wishing to promote sober and committed architecture.
