Eine Plattform für die Wissenschaft: Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur und Urbanistik
In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr discusses continuing on with the AWWA legacy that for the past 125 years has made AWWA “the authoritative resource on safe water,” and its vision to unite the full spectrum of the water community to protect public health. He states that the future holds promise, but to remain successful the association will have to consider the challenges facing all not‐for‐profit professional societies. He discusses three major trends that will affect AWWA as it works to achieve its vision and mission. Hoffbuhr states that AWWA will continue to be an effective competitor by using its access to the vast intellectual capital of the volunteer‐staff workforce to the fullest extent possible to develop the products and services that will keep AWWA as “the authoritative resource for safe water.”
