Water treatment by fabric capillary action: New technique with ancient origins
The ancient Egyptian wick filtration method of water treatment has been redeveloped, and a comparative study showed that the redeveloped method of transmitting the water from one channel to another through technical nonwoven fabrics by using fabric capillary action is more cost effective.
