EFFECTIVE NEGOTIATION OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTS
Loss of time and money can often be attributed to friction between owners, contractors, engineers, and suppliers. With the aim of cutting down on this friction, a joint discussion was presented on May 20, 1969, at the Annual Conference, San Diego, with representatives of each group present. They were: H. O. Hartung, Owner; Holly Cornell, Engineer; Harry E. Curtis, Contractor; and D. L. Gallagher, Supplier.
