Research on Self‐centering Aseismic Device Based on Disc Springs
Earthquake resilient structure can restore the function of the structure which does not need to repair or in the partial use of a small repair after an earthquake by the application of rocking wall, self‐centering, replaceable and additional energy dissipation devices, and other technologies. Adding a self‐centering device to the structure and designing it to remain elastic at a certain earthquake level can restore the structure to its original position after an earthquake. In this paper, a disc spring self‐centering device suitable for rocking wall structure is developed from the aspects of material properties, conceptual design, and structural design to mechanical properties test research, to achieve a more efficient shock‐proof structure with resilient functions.
