The Great Lakes Water Resource
This article discusses water quality control in the Great Lakes Basin. It briefly reviews water resources issues of the Great Lakes as published in a JOURNAL AWWA article in September 1964. The article presents current action underway on water pollution control, and discusses the advantages of developing a program similar to the Tennessee Valley Authority, which would be responsible for managing the water resources of the Great Lakes Basin.
