This collection of papers, approved by international reviewers, covers the subject areas of Structural Engineering, Monitoring and Control of Structures, Structural Rehabilitation, Retrofitting and Strengthening, Reliability and Durability of Structures, Computational Mechanics, Construction Technology, Computer Simulation and CAD/CAE and Engineering Management. The volume offers a timely survey of these topics. Some 370 papers were presented in four simultaneous tracks on advances in civil engineering, advances in structural engineering, advanced transportation, and architecture and building materials. More specific areas are structural engineering, monitoring and control of structures, structural rehabilitation, retrofitting and strengthening, reliability and durability of structures, computational mechanics, construction technology, computer simulation and computer-aided design and engineering, and engineering management. Among individual papers are discussions such as the computational analysis of point-supported full-glass roof structure, economic evaluation and decision research on urban heating modes in the north, the wind-induced response analysis of double-layer cylindrical lattice shells, residual stress analysis by multiple sequential coupling for non-scallop welding joints, and the quantitative analysis of ventilation network reliability assessments.
