Seismic & wind dynamic analysis of high-rise irregular structure
Scarcity in horizontal construction plots in urban areas due to continuous migration of people has become the major reason for no. of high-rise structures being built in recent years. Design complications increases with the increase in height of the structure due to various uncertain factors caused by lateral loads, they might even get complicated when irregularities are considered for aesthetical reasons. It is the role of structural engineers to overcome the factors and to design a stable structure. So, in this study we have generated a real time high rise irregular structure using STAAD Pro software and the performance of the structure was observed by determining the factor of impact of wind loads with dynamic nature over seismic responses with the gradual increase in the structure’s height using ETABS.
