Principles of organizing public discussion of construction projects
The formation of civil society involves the active involvement of various groups of the public in the discussion of all aspects of the country's life, including in the discussion of the implementation of construction projects. The creation of a certain information background around the project affects the attraction of investors, the interest of potential consumers, and the formation of the image of a construction or development company. Construction organizations are limited to legally binding forms of interaction with the public, which leads to a decrease in the transparency of the construction industry for public control. To change the current situation, it is necessary to revise the approaches to organizing public discussion of construction projects in the direction of greater openness, environmental friendliness, as well as new technologies. Currently, the discussion can be conducted using both media and non-media communication channels. The message conveyed to different groups of the public should contain the transmission of rational information, empirical experience (emotions) and action, and should be aimed at overcoming various communication barriers.
