Settlement Calculation of Piled Raft Foundation in Soft Soil Section of High-Speed Railway
The piled raft foundation has the advantages of good integrity and significant settlement control effect. It is initially attempted as the foundation treatment in soft soil sections of high-speed railway. The total settlement of the piled raft foundation is one of the key indexes in high-speed railway subgrade, but its calculation method is not normative. Based on a specific project, this paper adopts e-p curve method, e-lgp curve method, compression modulus method, and foreign equivalent pier method in which the additional stress diffuses at different positions and with diffusion angles. The calculation results are compared with the measured values. The results show that e-lgp curve is more reasonable considering the prophase consolidation pressure. With the compression modulus method, when the additional stress diffuses at the top of the pile and when the diffusion angle is 30°, the calculation result is best proximal to the measured value. In practical application, the local soil conditions and other foundation structure factors should be considered for selecting the most suitable total settlement calculation method and proper settlement correction coefficients.
