Using Environmental Ordinances for Sustainable Watershed Planning
Controlling nonpoint source pollution from new developments and construction activities requires that new, innovative stormwater management principles be incorporated into the design of new developments. These new stormwater management principles can best be incorporated into new development designs by developing and adopting a stormwater management ordinance that reflects these principles.
