Preliminary Study on Flow Constitutive Model of Post Liquefied Sand in Zero Effective Stress State
Regarded as fluid, the flow characteristics of the liquefied saturated sand is similar to a kind of shear thinning non-Newtonian fluid. According to the theoretical analysis of liquefaction of saturated sand based on non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, the relationship between shear strain rate and dynamic apparent viscosity, in zero effective stress state, can be properly described by Gross mode. Through fitting the flow curve of the dynamic torsional shear test results, the flow constitutive model of post-liquefied sand is established. Considering the influences of relative density, confining stress, stress path and history and the direction of loading cycles on the model parameter selection, the functional relationships of the model parameters and their physical significances are illustrated, which establishes theoretical foundation for further research on large deformation of liquefied flows based on fluid mechanics theory.
