Research on Carrying Capacity of Integrated Transportation in Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration
Chinese urbanization process has been rapidly advancing, and urban agglomeration is the main organizational form of future in urban development. The development and condition of carrying capacity of integrated transportation systems have a great influence on urban agglomeration. This paper builds the model of carrying capacity of integrated transportation of urban agglomeration, evaluating the integrated transportation system from three aspects: carrying capacity of infrastructure, economic development, and potential demand. Using Guanzhong plain urban agglomeration as the study area, the paper gathers the data on the evaluation indicators of railways, highways and airports for nearly nine years, and analyzes the fluctuation of carrying capacity of both separate transport mode and the integrated traffic system and puts forward the suggestion for the development of integrated transportation of Guanzhong plain urban agglomeration.
