Roll Waves and Slug Flows in Inclined Open Channels
Roll waves and slug flows are established as two distinctly different wave patterns and are studied phenomenologically in inclined open channel; characteristics of flow are expressed in terms of pertinent physical properties; theory is presented and reference is made to similar phenomena in allied fields in which mathematical analyses exist.
