The early history, and the construction of the sewers, connected with the work of abolishing grade crossings on Pennsylvania Ave., in the City of Philadelphia, by what is known as the Pennsylvania Ave . Subway and Tunnel, has already been described by the writers. It is the purpose of this paper to take up the subject where the description was left off in the previous paper, and to present such, features of the completion of the work as it is hoped may be of interest to the profession.
