What Does Diggs Do For Me? Better, Faster, Cheaper Is the Goal!
For the past decade, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has been at the forefront of advancing geotechnical data management associated with its investment and leadership related to DIGGS (Data Interchange for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists). DIGGS is a robust, open standard, XML-based format for sharing with project partners a wide variety of geotechnical data related to site investigations. It’s currently being expanded to handle other types of geotechnical data from sources such as pile load testing, performance monitoring instrumentation, and geo-environmental site monitoring. DIGGS is compliant with industry standards and best practices for exchanging data.
