Probabilistic Safety Assessment of Anchored Slope
This paper describes a quantitative evaluation approach to evaluate safety of existing anchored slopes, which can reproduce former maintenance experiences. The failure probability of the existing slopes with considering the measurement result of tensile forces occurring in the partial anchors composing of the target existing anchored slope is adopted in the approach. In this paper, the background, the aim of this study, and the calculation method of the failure probability are described. Furthermore, the validity of the proposed method is discussed from the comparison between the estimated failure probabilities of two existing slopes and the safety judgment of the slopes, which are made in a technical committee.
