This paper presents the summary of a series of pressuremeter test results that were obtained from one particular area. As part of investigation for a bridge foundation the tests were performed over a few locations along a river. The background and objectives of the study are presented. The test details are also given. Parameters determined from the tests predict the lateral resistance behavior of the soil. The results are compared with those from previous tests in the same area. They were also used to establish a correlation with standard penetration resistance.
