Beam Constants for Continuous Trusses and Beams
The material presented in this paper deals with the determination of the elastic constants used in various methods of analyzing continuous beams and trusses . By rotating the ends of the beam in turn and computing the elastic curve, the constants are determined for a span. This method simplifies greatly the process of determining stresses in continuous trusses and girders.
