A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A new time-domain method is proposed for solving hybrid inverse problem in the paper. Taking mechanical characteristic of the input force as an additional conditions, a statistical average algorithm is suggested which can be used to identify the structural parameters of high buildings when the input information is unknown. A mathematical proof is presented in detail in the paper. Practical input situation such as ambient vibration is considered in the numerical examples to show the accuracy and reliability of the proposed algorithm.
