Spillway Discharge Capacity of Wilson Dam
This paper describes the current-meter discharge measurements made on the spillways at Wilson Dam. The readings were taken for several gate-openings from 3 ft. to full gate and under two conditions, namely, no discharge and full discharge through the adjacent spillways. The head on the crest was 18 ft. Discharge quantities, together with the calculated coefficients for the several partly opened gates and also for full gate, have been obtained.
