Delta Project: Tidal Computations in Coastal Areas
The purpose of this paper is the computation of the tidal motion in shallow coastal waters by means of the so-called harmonic method. This method is relatively simple in application. As an example the propagation of the tide in Tampa Bay on the coast of Florida is examined.
