The Granby Pumping Plant: A Symposium: Foundations and Design
At Granby Reservoir, in Colorado, the peculiarities of the foundation material and an unusual margin of forebay fluctuation dictated the special features of the pumping plant built to divert water across the Continental Divide. The foundation conditions at the Granby Pumping Plant, their relation to the design, and the unusual design analyses of this structure are described herein.
