A Different Aspect for Implanting Hydropower Units on the River Flows
Many of hydropower planners, designs several successive reservoirs dams on the river bed for maximizing the energy production from the water flows on the rivers. In the proposing paper we are going to explain how we can produce the maximum potential energy of water flows of the river by making one reservoir dam (yearly regulation reservoir) on upstream of the river (or on the principal branches). We explain also, that we don't need to built the dam reservoirs, on downstream, but we produce all of the energy of water flows in downstream zone of the above dam. Consequently, we eliminate all the inconvenient environmental consequences, which can produce by dam reservoirs on the riverbeds. This type of water management for hydropower units on many of the rivers, can be recommended to produce electrical energy for peak utilization periods (for example: during first part of the night) and can eventually substitute the pump storage systems.
