Other Engineering Congresses have told of the development of other great industries in the United States, and have marked, by the papers presented, the transfer of one after another of the great engineering industries to America. Steel, electrical apparatus, copper, all come under this category. During the past ten years the center of gravity of another of the world's industries has been thus made.
