VPM Scheduling for High-Rise Buildings
Network scheduling is a definite improvement over traditional scheduling methods, but it has fallen short of expectations on high-rise building construction. High-rise construction develops into two distinctive stages: (1)Basic development; and (2)the typical vertical floor. The Vertical Production Method (VPM) is a graphical scheduling method based upon a network base, but recognizing the controlling nature of the intercrew production relationship in the implementation of high-rise construction.
