Pullout Response of Geosynthetic in Soil—Theoretical Analysis
A theoretical analysis is performed to establish the relationship between the pullout force and displacement using the linear elastic approach. It is shown by the theoretical analysis that the pullout force is a function of four variables: (i) reinforcement stiffness; (ii) soil-reinforcement interface shear stiffness; (iii) mobilized reinforcement length, and (iv) pullout displacement.
