Storage Stability of Asphalt Rubber at High Temperature
The objective of this study was to investigate and evaluate the influence of storage at high temperature on properties of asphalt rubber. The experimental design for this study included short-term storage stability study and separation of asphalt rubber for long-term storage. Furthermore, the effect of short-term storage of binder on performance of asphalt rubber mixture was involved in the present study. The results of the experiments indicated that the storage at high temperature has unavoidably led to a change in the properties of asphalt rubber. The long-term storage of asphalt rubber at high temperature should be avoided. When the reaction temperature is 180~190°C, the storage stability of asphalt rubber is much better than at other temperatures.
