Visitors to St Louis’s iconic Gateway Arch can now enjoy an even more monumental experience, thanks to an expanded underground museum with a new glazed entrance. The $380-million project also features a land bridge that spans an interstate highway to better link the city’s downtown with the arch grounds; other pedestrian and vehicular access improvements; and an uplifting flood protection effort along the riverfront.
