Dynamic Analysis for Earth Rock-Fill Dam Including Dam-Reservoir-Foundation Interaction
In the traditional studies on earth-rockfill dam seismic response, earth-rockfill dam material is usually analyzed as single-phase medium, besides that, current investigation related to the dynamic study of earth-rockfill dam-reservoir-foundation problems are still limited. In this paper, the seismic response of earth-rockfill dam was analyzed by using the nonlinear Pastor-Zienkiewic model (PZ model) that base on generalized plastic theory, parts of dam materials are simulated as two-phase porous medium, and consider the interaction with the earth-rockfill dam-reservoir-foundation system.Three-dimension dynamic analysis is carried out about Shuangjiangkou clay core earth-rockfill dam, while the process of pore pressure and effective stress during the earthquake are given for the earth-rockfill dam, and to determine whether the liquefaction occurring of the dam by the process of effective stress.
