Contractual Collaboration Systems of Mega Complex Construction Project Organizations
During the last few decades, construction projects have shown a trend towards becoming large complicated operations, involving multi-disciplinary and many types of technology. Due to large-scale socialization production and specialization collaboration, there are many participant organizations in the project. Project organizations differ from enterprise organizations. They are one-time, temporary organizations for specific tasks. In a complex and changeful environment, various project participants work together with different responsibilities, objectives and management methods. The project should be precisely organized to ensure an orderly implementation of the project according to the plan. In this paper, collaboration and interactive relationships between various participant organizations of the construction project would be comprehensively and systematically analyzed with the Design Structure Matrix (DSM) method. According to the results of the modeling analysis, appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism of the contract would be established to ensure a smooth implementation of the project.
