Installation of Dual 1000MM HDPE Force Mains under Honolulu Harbor by Horizontal Directional Drilling
This paper provides information on how the use of new technologies (i.e. HDD, microtunneling, and jet grouting) can be beneficial in solving complicated site geometry, geology and social environmental issues. It demonstrates that the uses of a combination of pipe materials and construction techniques can be utilized to provide an economical solution to a project.
