A Pattern of Interstation Air Travel
An analysis is made herein of airline travel between large- and medium-sized hubs of airway traffic. It is suggested that, for stations more than 800 miles apart, the number of trips between any two stations depends primarily on the total traffic at each of the stations and on the quality of service.
