Arch Dam Analysis with an Electric Analog Computer
An electrical analogy that simulates the elastic deformations of arch darns is described herein. This analogy consists of resistors, transformers, and current generators. The results of an analog computer analysis of the Stevenson Creek Darn are compared with field measurements. The results of a design study of the Blue Ridge Darn are summarized.
