Water Supply Versus Irrigation in Humid Areas
Water is required for urban waste removal, fire protection, industrial processes, and agriculture (for which natural precipitation is undependable). For maximum beneficial use, watershed inventories are necessary, so that present and future needs can be determined and such use can be recommended. An inventory of the White River Basin, Indiana, is described herein.
