Case Study on Shantytowns’ Reconstruction Mode with the New Urbanization
With the development of China’s economic level, the appearance of cities and towns has changed with each passing day. Many clean and comfortable residential districts have sprung up in cities and towns, and the living quality and living environment of urban residents have been improved. Along with the urbanized development, the shantytown has seriously hindered the urbanized advancement. So whether the problem of shantytowns can be solved directly determines the speed of urbanization. Based on the analysis of the problems existing in Ningbo shantytowns’ reconstruction planning, the dynamics model is established to simulate investigation data. On the premise of validity of the model, the paper analyses the current policy system, combines the existing problems of shantytowns’ reconstruction, and explores the reconstruction mode and planning scheme of shantytowns in Ningbo. Based on the sensitivity analysis of the model, some policy suggestions are put forward to promote the shantytowns’ reconstruction.
