Analysis of Concrete Creep in Compression, Tension and Bending: Numerical Modeling
Concrete structures with a long-term serviceability may be impacted by the time-dependent strains. In this study, creep strains modeling is performed by a rheological model. The long-term viscoelasticity and the influence of the loading on the specific creep are taken into account. The impact of the dissymmetry between tensile and compressive creep is studied with the numerical simulation of a four-point bending creep test. According to the results, a reliable, long-term, structural analysis has to consider this possible dissymmetry of basic creep.
