Research on the Brain Drain of Construction Enterprises and Countermeasures
The brain drain of construction enterprises hinders the development of the industry, thereby affecting the sustained and steady development of regional economy. On the basis of the empirical data of construction enterprises in the Northeast China, this paper employs an analytic hierarchy process to construct a model index system for the brain drain of construction enterprises within the aforementioned region on three levels, namely, individual, enterprise, and social environment levels. Further, this paper also analyses the influencing factors. As a result, the following conclusions are drawn. First, the enterprise factor in the criterion layer is the primary factor affecting the brain drain of construction enterprises in Northeast China. Second, in the project layer, the salary level and incentive system, enterprise scale and development prospects, and socioeconomic factors are the main factors affecting the brain drain of construction enterprises in Northeast China. Thus, we propose concrete countermeasures from the perspective of enterprises and governments to effectively reduce brain drain and revitalise the economic development of Northeast China.
