Full-Scale Measurements for Wind Effects on Buildings
Building aerodynamics is one of the major component in determination of wind effects on buildings. Most of the aerodynamic effects are obtained through measurements in wind tunnels. A limited number of tests are performed on a full-scale level because of difficulty in conducting tests and the high cost. This paper summarizes type of measurements, instrumentation and data for full-scale measurements. The actual presentation with typical photographs and data will be placed on the web site following the conference.
