Gillette Madison Pipeline Project: Providing a Sustainable and Reliable Water System for the Gillette Regional Area
The City of Gillette is undertaking a $220 million project to serve the region with a reliable, long-term water supply. The project includes wells, treatment, transmission and distribution waterlines, pumping, and storage. The Gillette Madison Pipeline Project (GMPP) will allow the City of Gillette to serve the water demands of its rapidly growing population, which is driven by energy development in the Powder River Basin. The project will provide redundancy and reliability to the backbone of the City of Gillette infrastructure for service to its customers well into the future.
