In approaching this subject, one should do so with an unbiased mind; unfortunately many people who have a predilection for one system, or who, perhaps, may be the parent of a particular method of utilizing power, are too prone to conclude that that system is best suited for each and every purpose. The author cannot urge too strongly the fact that each installation should be specially and individually considered. The advantages and disadvantages that would accrue from the application of each should be considered, with the result of selecting the one which shows least objections, for no doubt none would be perfect.
