In July, 1907, the writer was retained by Henry G. Opdycke, Assoc. M. Am. Soc. C. E., to report on the undermining of the Cambridge Building, on the southwest corner of Thirty-third Street and Fifth Avenue, New York City, by the Pennsylvania Railroad Tunnel, then under construction.
