A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Circular jumps of radial flows on a horizontal circular disk mounted with a peripheral weir are studied for their location and strength on an inviscid and hydrostatic basis. Unlike their two-dimensional counterpart, stationary circular jumps form for a range of weir heights for prescribed upstream conditions, and their location and strength can be found for any weir height within this range on an inviscid basis.
