Overhead Construction for High-Tension Electric Traction or Transmission
A proper regard for the safety of the public, and the great necessity, from an operating standpoint, of uninterrupted service on power transmission lines and the railroad or other lines they cross, demand the most reliable type of construction. “Crossing spans,” being relatively few in number and relatively great in importance, should be built in the best manner possible, and without the same consideration of cost as that which is proper for a line on private right of way.
